SOCIAL MEDIA IS THE NEW CURRICULUM VITAE (C.V)!

PLEASE READ AND SHARE!

Your Curriculum vitae (CV) says you are....

Hardworking. A team player. Competent. Smart. Efficient. Purpose driven. Experienced.

But on social media, you hold opinions that are offensive.

When a woman is raped and killed, your comment is....

"Serves her right. Why was she dating two friends".

OR

"She got what she deserved. Why was she always wearing skimpy dresses?"

When a woman is abused in her marriage and decides to leave, your comment goes thus....

"She just wants to go and sleep around. A woman who leaves her marriage has failed woefully. Any woman who cannot handle the small issue of domestic violence is not a virtuous woman. She deserves to be dealt with."

You hide these vile opinions at the seams of the fabric of the internet.....

But you are arguing that employers and recruitment companies should not rely on your social media accounts (posts and comments) to decide if they want you working for them.

You want companies to hire a hardworking rape apologist or an efficient misogynist with violent opinions.

Fvck your hardwork and efficiency, dear.

Fvck your abilities and credentials, my dear.

YOU, YOUR PARTNER AND YOUR PROSPECTIVE IN-LAWS! -DiplomaticBlessing The way your prospective family in-law treats you the first time you visit says a few things; the type of people they are, the level respect they have for your partner and the way your partner has presented you to them. If they are rude or disrespectful to you on your first visit, it’s either they are just rude and disrespectful generally, they don’t respect your partner or your partner has created the impression that you can be disrespected by just anyone, or all of the above. Africans are generally known for their hospitality, so this notion that women need to perform respect, humility and subservience to be accepted by their prospective in-law is deeply rooted in misogyny and we can pretend all we want, but I’ve never heard of any family ordering a male visitor to sweep the house, do the dishes or do laundry on his first visit. They are not even asked to do the “traditionally masculine” tasks like hewing ...
FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LIFTS BAN, CORPERS' NOW ELIGIBLE TO SERVE IN BANKS, AND OTHERS! - 19th November 2024 The Federal Government has lifted the ban restricting the posting of members of the National Youth Service Corps to the public sector, allowing for corpers to now be posted to private sector organisations, including banks and oil and gas companies. According to a memo issued by the Minister for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, dated November 18, 2024, the new policy directive will take effect with the commencement of the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Orientation exercise. The previous policy implemented during the tenure of former Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Bolaji Abdullahi, aimed at discouraging private companies from exploiting cheap labour while promoting public sector capa city building, restricted corps members to only four sectors of the economy, including education, agriculture, health, and infrastructure. Olawande said the new policy follows President Bola Ti...
